Please read these Terms and Conditions of our Services before using this website or entering into one of our treatment services.

In these Terms and Conditions:

“Bespoke Smiles”, “Bespoke Smiles Wanaka”, "Bespoke Smiles Limited", “Dentist/s” “we”, “our” and “us” means Bespoke Smiles Limited NZBN: 9429051098858 and “you” and “your” means the user of this website or the person or entity utilising one of our services either online or at one of our fixed dental locations.  

General Terms and Conditions

  1. By using this website and/or enrolling in a service we offer you are accepting these terms and conditions and confirming that you are at least 18 years old, and/or have the ability to consent to using one of our services.
  2. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions or our Privacy Policy found at https://bespokesmiles.co.nz/privacy-policy please do not use this website or request one of our services.
  3. We may update this website and change these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of this website after such update or change will constitute your acceptance of such updates or changes.
  4. By using this website and our other means of electronic communications we and you consent to receive further communications electronically. We will continue to communicate with you by email, and messaging services (WhatsApp, Podium, Mailchimp, Email and Praktika Dental software) until you request in writing for any future electronic communication to stop by emailing us at reception@bespokesmiles.co.nz.
  5. This website and all content contained within it is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights and no portion of it may be used without our express written permission by the owners of Bespoke Smiles Limited (Dr Hye-Sang Kim and Dr Julianna Tsao)
  6. A Cookie is a small data file that is stored by your web browser on your computer. We use Cookies to help monitor your online activity and to improve service for you on your subsequent visits to this website. The information that we collect from Cookies is anonymous and is not personally identifiable.

From time to time there may be content on this website that contains typographical errors and inaccuracies or oversights relating to a product description, product image, price, promotion, special offer or availability. We have the right to amend any typographical errors, inaccuracies or oversights and to correct or update content or cancel service requests at any time without prior notice including when a request has been submitted, prior to an agreement being signed by you.
  13. The price displayed on this website is shown as an amount inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to vary the price of our services at any time without prior notice.

In addition to the above Terms and Conditions, the following specific Terms and Conditions apply to all of our services displayed on our website and when you visit our practice in person for any dental services, including free consultations.

All service requests are subject to the availability of the dentists working at Bespoke Smiles Wanaka. We reserve the right to decline a request for one of our services for any reason and without explanation.

Cancellation and Booking Fee Policy

To ensure appointment availability, this practice requires patients to pay a booking fee. The allocated appointment slot is specifically reserved for the patient, and short-notice changes or cancellations hinder the practice's ability to provide adequate notice of appointment availability to other patients.

When booking an appointment at Bespoke Smiles Wanaka, you accept the following terms:

1. To secure my appointment, the practice requires a booking fee of $50. This fee is non-refundable if I fail to attend at the scheduled time. However, the practice may choose to waive the fee at their sole discretion.

2. If I provide at least 2 working days' notice to reschedule or cancel my appointment, the booking fee can be refunded or utilized to secure a different appointment. The Practice reserves the right to refund the booking fee in other circumstances as well.

3. If I fail to provide more than 2 working days' notice for any changes or cancellations to my planned treatment appointment, I acknowledge that the practice is authorized to retain the booking fee.

4. I have been given the opportunity to seek clarification regarding this policy and fee. Regardless of this opportunity, I agree to pay the booking fee prior to receiving treatment.

5. I understand that once the booking fee is paid, it will be subtracted from the total cost of my treatment during the scheduled appointment, or it can be utilized for future appointments. However, it will not be deducted from any other individuals, including my family members.

6. Additionally, I am aware that in the case of complex and/or extensive treatment plans, the practitioner may require a pre-payment to initiate my treatment. This pre-payment amount, which covers expenses related to laboratory work and necessary preparations, will be communicated to me in the treatment estimate.

7. In an act of courtesy, the reception team at Bespoke Smiles will reach out to me prior to my upcoming appointment. It is important for me to confirm my attendance, as failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of my scheduled appointment time. Moreover, if I fail to attend my appointment without any attempt to contact Bespoke Smiles, my Non-Refundable Booking Fee will be treated as a cancellation fee.

New Patient Special Offer

The New Patient Special Offer of $199 applies to a New Patient Comprehensive Examination and Clean Appointment (hereby called New Patient Appointment) which includes: a comprehensive examination (011 item code), 2 or more intra-oral x-rays (022 item code), an OPG x-ray (037 item code), intra-oral photographs (072 item code), removal or plaque/calculus (114 item code), and topical application of remineralising agent (021 item code).

The offer only applies to a new patient to Bespoke Smiles Wanaka who has not had a comprehensive examination and/or clean. The offer maybe withdrawn at any time and is at the sole discretion of the practice owners

If the patient elects to not having the clean on the day of the New Patient Appointment, then they agree to pay $199 for all combined services at that appointment (examination, x-ray, photographs, and consultation). Any cleans done outside of this appointment are charged separately and will be quoted by the dentist prior to treatment.

Family Discount Policy

Family Discount Policy is a special offer provided by Bespoke Smiles Wanaka to help families afford and access dental care for children and teenagers without delay. This discount applies within the following parameters:

The discount applies to:

  • A child's (age 2-17 years old) New Patient Appointment ($199) which includes: a comprehensive examination (011 item code), 2 or more intra-oral x-rays (022 item code), an OPG x-ray (037 item code), intra-oral photographs (072 item code), removal of plaque/calculus (114 item code), and topical application of remineralising agent (121 item code).
  • A child's (age 2-17 years old) Routine Maintenance Appointment ($199) which includes: a periodic examination (012 item code), any intra-oral x-rays (022 item code), intra-oral photographs (072 item code), removal of plaque/calculus (114 item code), and topical application of remineralising agent (121 item code).
  • Minimum one parent/legal guardian of the children/legal dependents (who are minors) must book and attend a New Patient Appointment ($199) or Routine Maintenance Appointment ($199).
  • Maximum four minors/legal dependents of the adult/s.
  • Appointments must be booked and attended by the parent/legal guardian and any discount applicable children/legal dependents within a three month period.
  • Regardless of whether an adult or child is booked first in the family, this appointment costs $199. Any subsequent child appointment is $99 as long as an adult in the family has booked an appointment. If the appointment following a child's first appointment is for an adult, this appointment is discounted to $99.

The discount does not apply to any treatment appointments or consultations that fall outside of these appointments.

Cancellation and Booking Fee Policy applies.

The practice owners have the sole right to withdraw the 'Family Discount Policy' service at any time.

Free check-up and cleans for all child and teenage orthodontic patients

Children and teenagers (ages 2-17 years old) who undergo orthodontic treatment at Bespoke Smiles Wanaka will be eligible for free check-ups and cleans for the duration of their orthodontic treatment. Any other dental treatment other than check-ups, cleans, and orthodontics are full private pay.

Free Orthodontic Consults

Free orthodontic consultations are offered to school aged children only. A free orthodontic consultation does not include any general dental examination or treatment.

Included services are a limited examination of the orthodontic conditions present, photos, and a diagnostic x-ray if required.

Further diagnostic x-rays, scans and consultations are not covered under the initial Free Orthodontic Consult.

Free Cosmetic Consults

Free cosmetic dentistry consultation are offered to adults only. This relates to any condition or concern that is related to the appearance of the visible front teeth/gums when smiling. This free service does not include a general examination of teeth and gums or a limited examination of a symptomatic condition.

Included services are a limited examination of the cosmetic concern raised by the patient, photos, and a diagnostic x-ray if required.

Further diagnostic x-rays, scans and consultations are not covered under the initial Free Cosmetic Consult.

Reviews and testimonials

We may send you a survey asking for feedback on your experience and seek testimonials that will be publicly shared on this website and other forms of marketing, with your prior written permission.

Payment responsibilities

No payment will be required until you agree to proceed with treatment following your initial consultation with one of our dentists at Bespoke Smiles Wanaka.  Your initial consultation to confirm your suitability and treatment costs will incur a fee that is payable on the day.

All other payment policies will be discussed with you in person prior to starting treatment.
